What
could
Idy do?

i_space

I-space

I-space is an AI-powered creativity platform where designers and stakeholders collaborate to find inspiration and discuss initial ideas before the ideation stage.

Image 2

Idy

Idy is an in-built friendly AI agent who acts as a co-creator and a companion for the designers to ease their tasks.

Steve

Steve is the new director of the Nature Conservation and Tourism Promotion Bureau of Ceylan plans to boost tourism by creating a new hiking app showcasing the region's biodiversity and history. Steve approaches Theta Tech to help with his project.

Image 1

Ollie

Ollie is the lead UX designer at Theta Tech. Once the initial project planning and UX design was done she thought it was time to get a UI designer in. Ollie is very particular about details. She uses annotations on wireframes to clarify her design vision.

How could Idy use these annotations to help the design team?

Idy can go through the annotations, try to manipulate the existing images accordingly, and show it to everyone on a side panel.
Image 1

Sandra

Sandra is a senior UI designer at Theta Tech. She collects design inspiration from magazines, Dribbble, and Behance but lacks a proper way to manage her archives.

How could I-space help Sandra manage her inspiration archives?

I-space has a built-in image gallery where users can upload, sketch, capture images and store their inspiration. This feature can help Sandra to keep all her inspiration in one place.
Image 1

Dave

Dave is a junior UI designer at Theta Tech. He enjoys filling his sketchbook when travelling and hiking. He never forgets to carry a tiny drawing kit to sketch exciting ideas.

How could I-space help Dave manage the sketches they create on the move?

I-space's image gallery feature can help Dave to sketch on I-space, take photographs of his sketches and upload them.
Image 2

Ollie assigned Sandra and Dave to this project to design the hiking app. They met Steve to get his input about the app's visual style.

Image 1

Sandra remembered taking a photo of an interesting hiking map from a magazine article but couldn't find it in her gallery with thousands of images.

How could I-space and Idy help Sandra at this moment?

Idy can browse through the content in the I-space image gallery and organise the images based on their style and subject so that Sandra can find pictures easily.
Image 1

Dave is very excited about the opportunity to design a hiking app. He wants to show his sketches to Sandra, Ollie, and Steve. But they do not have a way to show them to everyone simultaneously.

How could I-space help Dave?

Dave can use the I-space gallery to upload photographs of his sketches. Also, he can connect his iPad to the software to sketch directly on a digital canvas.
Image 1

Steve browsed some interesting app designs on Google Images and decided to show them to the designers. However, Steve forgot to save the links or download them.

How could Steve share these photos with the designers during the meeting?

Steve can upload the images to the I-space app while browsing on Google Images. The I-space app has a browser plugin that enables him to add it to idea collections. So, Steve can share these images in the I-space gallery.
Image 1

Ollie also had some initial ideas to present alongside the wireframes.

How do you think the -I-space interface could look like now?

Ollie can upload the wireframes and initial sketch ideas to the I-space app. The interface can link the sketches to the wireframe sections using arrows to view them side-by-side.
Image 1

On the morning of the meeting day, Sandra started preparing breakfast before leaving for work. While cooking, she got this idea. She couldn't sit, sketch, or write it down because her hands weren't free.

How could I-space and Idy help Sandra at this moment?

Sandra could record her idea by speaking it out loud. Then, Sandra could upload the recording into I-space while commuting. Idy then can listen to and execute the idea by creating a few images that portray Sandra's ideas before the meeting.
Image 1

Steve, who is not so good at drawing, used the text prompting feature to generate ideas for which he wanted to contribute. Also, he browsed through the collections and tagged the ones he found interesting.

What are your thoughts on using text prompting and tagging?

Idy can go through Steve's generated images, check on his tagged ideas and create a separate panel on the interface showing what inspiration Steve brings to the discussion table.
Image 1

Sandra wanted to merge all the ideas everyone came up with to see what sort of high-level visual style it has and then determine which visual style they should go forward with.

What feature do you think I-space should have to help Sandra with her intent?

Sandra could select all the images that everyone is interested in and then right-click on them. Then, she could choose the option "select and merge" on the menu, which helped her to merge all the ideas.
Image 1

Now Sandra, Dave and Ollie wanted to start ideating on the final look and feel of the app. They wanted to review what inspiration they collected during the last meeting. But this time, Ollie couldn't make it to the meeting, so she joined a chat on her laptop.

What should the image quality be in this view mode? What are your thoughts on it?

Sandra, Dave, and Ollie are now working on exploring the view of I-space. The images in this interface can look less intricate, partially completed and blurred because they help promote more ideas than exposing them to a concrete concept.
Image 1

Sandra explained her expectations to Dave, and Ollie shared her opinions. Dave needs to incorporate his sketching style and suggestions to create project image assets. However, he started feeling stuck due to time constraints and pressure.

What could Idy do to help Dave?

Dave could select his sketches, pin them as the intended style, and use them as a reference to translate other images in the i-space gallery into his own sketching style. And Idy can generate several variations of each image so Dave can pick what he likes.
Image 3

Dave began to go over the same image repeatedly and felt like he was stuck in a loop. Idy observed him the whole time. Suddenly, Idy appeared on the side of the screen and said, "Hey, it seems like you're exploring similar ideas. Would you like me to show you something different?"

Imagine that you are Dave. Tell us what your reaction would be in this situation.

Image 3

Also, I-space could undo and redo and look at the version history.

What are your thoughts about these features in I-Space?

Image 3

Dave felt tired after all, so he decided to take a break. This time, Idy locked their access to I-space for a day to let them take some time away from the exposed ideas.

Imagine you are Dave and tell us your reaction to this situation.

The next day, Dave came up with a fresh mind and sat in front of the I-Space interface. Now, he perfectly understands what the colours, typography, iconography, and visual style should look like. So, he circles the components he likes in the images/sketches and wants to compose a mood board.

What could Idy do to help Dave compile the final mood board?

Idy could go through all the notes Dave, Sandra, Ollie, and Steve created and generate a few mood board options for them to have as references.
